Can 1st Formations’ additional services be used by non-company formation customers?
Yes, absolutely. It doesn’t matter if we formed your company or not.
As long as your company is a UK private limited company, and you can provide us with an authentication code (this enables us to complete online filings), we should be able to assist you.
What services do you offer?
Our non-company formation services can be split into two categories: address services and general company services.
Address services
Registered office address – protect your residential address from the public register by using our address as your registered office address
Service address – protect your director’s residential address from the public register by using our address as their correspondence address

General company services
Confirmation statement – let our Team of experts take care of filing your confirmation statement, a requirement for all limited companies
Dormant company accounts – dormant companies can file an abbreviated set of accounts known as dormant company accounts, with this service our company experts do this for you
Company dissolution – if you no longer need your limited company, we can assist in closing it at Companies House
Change of company name – we’ll help you complete all the necessary documentation to change your limited company’s name
Director appointment & resignation – our Team will take care of all the necessary documentation for appointing/resigning a company director
Full company secretary service – a comprehensive service whereby we’ll provide your company with a dedicated account manager and up to 15 changes to your company per year
Issue of shares – we assist in creating new shares for your limited company by preparing the letter of application, the SH01 form, and everything else that’s needed
Transfer of shares – we’ll help you transfer shares from one shareholder to another, ensuring the stock transfer form, board resolution, and share certificates are correctly completed
Certificate of good standing – if your company stays on top of its filing obligations, we can arrange your certificate of good standing (often required by banks)
Apostilled documents – non-UK residents often need company documents to be legalised after their company formation. With this service, we’ll take care of it for you
Business telephone service – never miss a call, and project a professional image, by allowing us to answer your business calls – we can then forward them on or pass on messages
VAT registration – take the hassle out of registering your company for VAT by handing the task over to us

You can use the free online company manager tool, even if your company wasn’t formed by us.
This allows you to make various online changes to your company from one secure login – rather than having to log in and out of Companies House WebFiling with your company authentication code every time you wish to make an update.
