Ready to form your company? Here's what you'll need...
Whether you're forming a company to reserve a name or have a detailed business plan ready, the steps for setting up a limited company are the same. This guide will ensure you have everything at your fingertips to get your company up and running smoothly.
Registered Office
This is the official address of your company and must be a full postal address in the country where your company is incorporated. PO Box addresses are not accepted. Companies House and HMRC will use this address to send all official correspondence, and it will appear on public record.
If you don't have a UK registered office, or if you'd prefer to keep your residential address private, most of our packages offer the use of our London address as your company’s registered office. This service ensures compliance with regulations while protecting your privacy and enhancing your business image.
Business Activity
You are required to provide Companies House with your new company's business activity. This is done by choosing a SIC code (Standard Industrial Classification code) which describes and classifies business activities.
Our online company formation process includes a SIC code search facility, however, you may wish to find your company's SIC code prior to starting your order, by having a look at the SIC code list.
